I've recently got a little press coverage, one of which I totally forgot to mention at the time and one which is part of the recent commission i've done for Oxford University.
The first (bottom middle) is a poster which has sold well over the years and is a particular favourite of mine from my uni days in Nottingham. I've opted for the neon pink sky here because i love the colour. I try and use neon shades as much as possible in my work, they give everything a funky edge i think.
The 2nd (top right) is a heavy duty tote bag which is, as i mentioned, part of a range i was commissioned to do by Oxford University this summer. Oxford is both a pleasure and a chore to draw, it's so so beautiful that it's hard to capture but at the same time each building has so much personality that it sort of begs to be illustrated.

We're not far off Christmas believe it or not. This year seems to have sped by, i can hardly believe it. Today I found myself trying on coats and some lovely big knits, although, lovely as they may be, it makes it no less depressing that any hope of a surprise late summer seems less and less likely.
I work part time at a delightful country pub called The Yew Tree Inn, Bunbury and they are busy planning for christmas and new year celebrations and they asked me to draw the pub in a winter scene to put on this flyer.
As much as i will miss the warmth, i do love a good log fire and a glass of mulled wine!

Sorry for the lack of blogs, I have been busy on some lovely commissions. One of those said commissions is with Leeds Council, they have commissioned me to draw Leeds Cityscape so they can transfer it on to and sell (fingers crossed!) lots of lovely things such as, jugs, mugs, aprons and oven gloves. The second drawing is again of Leeds Cityscape but this time it's massive and covers an entire wall, you couldn't miss me if you tried!
The shop hasn't actually opened yet as its undergoing a massive refurb but I will keep you updated and if you live in or are visiting Leeds you can go and see it all for your self whilst sipping on a beverage.
